LA is giving up WAY too much for Patches.
I agree a first has to come the other way in any Patches deal but to add in also Clague AND Vilardi????? that just sounds like way too much.
I also believe that the Habs would need to eat up half of Patches salary and take on Gaboriks contract for any trade to work with LA.

Did you miss Gaborik already being traded? LOL

But yet another person who has Jack Johnson to the Habs... He made it SO CLEAR, as did CLB, that if he's traded it will be to set him up for a situation where he can pad his stats on a playoff team so he can maximize his new contract this summer. Montreal is one of the worst options out there in that case...

You’re just getting rid of all the good players on the team for young guys. You’re not making them particulary good.
