Though - "far more" to get Jones? Don't know about FAR more. More than what I've said here? Probably.

This is why Hab fans don’t make any sense... you are “prepping for Tavares” and yet are trading easily the most attractive piece on this team right now.

Which explanation would you prefer - chasing the franchise defenseman, clearing up as much cap room as possible, the fact that Tavares would be a free agent add and not a trade, or the fact that this is all make-believe?
