So essentially you think you are getting Tanev straight up for the "value" of a 2nd-3rd round pick?? Because, your 1st round pick will be probably 15th overall (6th rounder thrown in) and Vancouver's 2nd round pick will be about 34th overall. So...I say no way. RHD are hard to come by. JMO smile
Be sure to critique my Vancouver (FLA) trades.... "Next?!? Vancouver set the record for most Deadline Deal"

Not when every talking head (even the ones outside BC) say Tanev is worth at the very minimum a 1st rounder straight up. Explain how this is good for the Canucks?

LOL, NOT ALL 1st ROUND PICKS ARE EQUAL!! Like 1st overall has more value then 31st. common sense my friend.

Of course they are not, but FLA is 7-3 in their last 10 so it will probably be the 10th-15th overall pick......not worth it if we then throw in the 33rd-35th overall pick (our 2nd). I might be on (slightly) on board if we are giving up a 3rd or 4th rounder. Not a second, especially in a deep draft like in 2018
