Yikes, this just made me sad. 3 million for Strome, re-signing Caggiula for 3 years. This is what the Oilers would do. We don't deserve McDavid

Signing what looks like a career AHL player in Patrick Russell to 1.2 mill lol, what is going on here..

I’ve been wanting to trade Strome, or resign him near 2 mill.

I don’t want Benning on this team and would rather have him traded than resigned. Took so many steps back in development, just looks so inconsistent defensively, so many bad moves.

That Cagguila deal isn’t bad, maybe 1.3 mill for 3 years, it isn’t bad.

If we sign Cagguila to a two-way deal then sure. In my opinion, he's a really good AHL player/13 forward at least at the moment. Maybe, if we sent him down for a bit he could develop more, I cant handle watching him and his stone hands get endless chances playing on the top line. Haha Needless to say not the biggest Cagguila fan.

It’s fair to have that opinion, my opinion on Cagguila is more or less close to yours.. but I believe my opinion on Benning is spot on with yours on Cagguila. Would be content if both got traded.

I disagree on benning. I think if we sign him cheap and keep on the third pairing for a bit he could turn a corner and become a solid defender. overal this team didnt change much. I'd prefer strome traded for a different 3rd line center
