Ok you're not putting much thought into these...
"He's a good defensive prospect"
"A huge void"
C'mon man you talking about an elite defenseman in his prime...sure fire HOF...and you giving me scraps???

And why the hell is MTL trading for a bigger cap hit that no one wants???

WTF???...c'mon man get serious!!

I can't see a deal between those two teams that make both teams better.

I'm not comparing Justin Braun to Erik Karlsson, I'm comparing Justin Braun to Marc Méthot. Braun has been anchoring San Jose defensive side of the game alongside Vlasic, see their way to the the 2016 Stanley Cup playoff. Vlasic and Braun nearly blanked Kopitar's trio, Tarasenko's trio (he got 2 goals in game six when the serie was done), and Filip Forsberg's trio.

Braun has a cap friendly hit for two more years which is really important for Eugene Melnyk and Pierre Dorion.

Can you reply me with a trade for Karlsson and Ryan please.

TBH I'm just making fun of Montreal GM by making the deal. It's false to say nobody wants Paul Martin, however nobody wants him at his cap hit and that's true
