I think he'd be fine as a gap filler. He's a good skater and strong. Not much else out there on D for a rebuilding team.

Yes there is. And they’re in our farm system. A rebuilding team isn’t going to sign an aging defensive liability. Not when we already have Staal.

Have to pay Skjei more and likely same goes for hayes, spooner, Namestnikov. Also unlikely those 3 all get 1 year deals
