Nurse contract is longer and more expensive then necessary. We dont need to lock him up 5x8, would rather lock him up 3.75-4 x 4 as a bridge and take a 6M contract later if he lives up to this seasons promise. The money will be there when we can let go of Russel

Strome contract is also unrealistic. He'd much much rather bridge and hope to make a splash so that he can get paid.

Ontop of that, Drake Caggilua has not earned 4 years. He is the worst player on the ice over the stretch of most games.

Benning will probably get +2M

I can't see us getting a 2nd rounder for Benning. He's had his troubles this year but is still young. I don't mind the Hoffman deal but if we could move one of Lucic/Sekera or Russell and bring in another winger because Yamamoto won't be ready next year nor do I want him rushed.
