NYR paid quite a bit to get Zibanejad. And Kreider is valued pretty highly by NYR, rightly so.

Fox is a really great long-term play for NYR (American kid, Brian Leetch v2 anyone?), but that package is significantly weighted in CGY's favor.

I could see [Fox + Stone + CGY 4th] being an interesting conversation for [Kreider + NYR 2nd]. Even that brings in another LW and CGY has Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Bennett, Ferland, Versteeg as options there, plus Mangiapane and a few others in the minors.
    Jerry liked this.

LMAO This trade is absolutely awful. No Chance that is even close to the value for one of those players let alone both of them PLUS a second rounder.

I would entertain something like that. Good thinking!
