Description
Vesalainen, Dano & Morrow 1st recalls from AHL.

Comrie & Berdin tandem in the AHL.

Appleton and Niku as rookies, having too good of a year in the AHL not to be. Byfuglien good mentor for Niku.

Sign Brandon Bollig as grinder to replace Hendricks, will play in AHL, possible recall for a few games.

Trade Petan, give him a fresh start, no room for him.

Was tempted to trade Trouba but believe relationship is fixed. Playing where he needs/wants.

Could see a possible Stastny re-sign, but with Laine, Wheeler and Connor coming up, don't think there will be room for his contract.

Could see a few more AHL/depth signings as well, but nothing major, we have the core.

Could also see trading Mason as a possibility, but believe we will hold onto him for his final year.

    Dont know, but there might b a few goons left out there that can produce offense somewhat that could b better options than Bollig, but he’s ok, I guess. Id trade Lowry instead of Petan, honestly, if he asks for 4M to b a 4th line player. U could prob get some good value out of him. This isnt bad tho.

    teams don't sign players out of their elcs to four year contracts, cause it leads the player right into ufa. so for Morrissey it's either a bridge or about seven year. don't believe there is any way trouba signs long term, he's up arbitration on a one year deal. lowry is fine but closer to 2.1m deal

    Definitely agree with what you're saying! There are a lot of better options than Bollig that the Jets would consider first. I think I overpaid Lowry looking at this now too haha, thanks for the comment!

    Should have accounted for future UFA status, you're 100% right there. As for Trouba, we might have to agree to disagree. I definitely overpaid Lowry looking back at this now haha.
