So the answer is make this GM for the 2018-19 offseason, swap Glass for Ho-Sang (or dont make the trade at all), and sign Tavares (I’d go 7x11.5).

There's absolutely no way John Tavares is signing for 6 years $60 million, Try more like 7 years $84 million at the very least there will be a major bidding war for him.
