The Flames need more help up front, and they also need to break up the 3M line to help Tkachuk hit his full offensive potential/add depth scoring. These trades do that.

Zucc is on the wrong side of 30. If I'm dealing with the Rangers I think Kreider needs to be the main target. Same age and darn near the same contract as Brodie

Good point about the age, but the thing with Kreider is that he doesn't fill the need for a top-line RW.

Devils say no. Stone isn't good enough to be in the Top 4, and he isn't that much better of an option for the 3rd pairing than the Devils prospects. At this point, you are probably paying a team to take him
