I'll rate this a 3 because I think there's merit in the Hawks going after a guy like Galchenuyk. He's young, versatile as a forward, signed to a reasonable contract, and would likely contribute around 50 pts as a third center or top-six winger. I think the deal terms make sense too, although I think the returning 4th rounder should be Montreal's 3rd for '18, and I'm not sure the Habs would care much about Iacopelli. This deal could be possible...

The Bernier and Wingels signings are also plausible - both meet some need (depth forward and capable backup netminder). I'm less confident in the deals proposed for Cole and Nash. I think both of those contracts are too much for both; I'd offer Cole around $3M and Nash about the same.

The RFA signings look good, although I think the Hawks would want to move Murphy if they really want to bring back TVR. Murphy is overpaid for his level of performance (bottom pair DMan) - $3.85M for 4 more years, yikes. I'd rather see at least half of Murphy's contract go to TVR, while another team pays Murphy to take minutes on their third D pairing.

Absolutely need to sign Jokiharju, that's not a given - credit here for making that happen. I really think he'll get to play around 4-6 games in October.

Highmore and the pick should be enough for AZ to absorb Hossa's contract. Although, this only comes to fruition if the Hawks REALLY need the extra breathing room to sign a key player. Otherwise, Hossa's LTIR hit doesn't really impact the Hawks too much.

Also, I'd think the Hawks could retain the 3rd rounder to Carolina, or at least one of the players. I think the Canes want to re-sign TVR, but I don't think they would have a death-grip on him.

I just added Iacopelli for a throw in sweetener, and was going back and forth between Montreal's 3rd and 4th for '18. And I think If they can make it fit under the cap, and still improve the D then giving Murphy one more year to see what he can do wouldn't be a horrible idea.
The idea for TVR came from Carolina seeming to now want to make major changes with their new owner, and I agree I think they want to hang onto him, but the hawks love bringing back players, and he fills a need for a right handed defenseman not for too much money, and I'm not an Oesterle fan and Forsberg is not the goalie of the future here, and Carolina definitely needs to fix their goaltending issues.
I don't want to see Rutta on the team next year with his 2.3 mil he's owed.
