If a miracle were to happen...

Description
The St. Louis Blues have a 1.5% chance of winning the 2018 NHL Entry Draft Lottery. Considering the odds of some of the deals on this site coming true, I'd say Dahlin being a Blue is not that far-fetched.

If *two miracles were to happen - we get JT too! Maybe this is more like 3-4 miracles depending on the valuation of Sobotka and Berglund around the league. Part of me thinks it would take a miracle for a team to take them off our hands. Especially when you look at the age/cost/production of some potential UFAs; Grabner, Kane, Maroon, Rick Nash, Riley Nash, Bozak, Perron, Neal... if teams can land these guys for slightly more cash but no assets, they'll have no interest in our 3rd liners frown

    But it's fun to dream

It really is... if any of these things were to happen, I'd be soooo happy. I won't even push our luck (that far), let's just pray that Berglund plays his hockey somewhere else from now on, and that John Tavares inks a deal here.

Obviously the lottery pick is a long shot, but as far as I’m concerned, if we did get Dahlin then our chances of JT signing here go way way up.
