Making the playoffs?

Created by: Joel_N

Initial Creation Date: Apr. 15, 2018

Description
Would Paul Stastny sign with the Yotes for 7 Million or less? I think trying to convince him to come to the dessert should be their top priority this summer. I would also try to resign Domi, Connauton, and Schenn to team friendly deals. Of the 3, Connauton may be the hardest to keep, as he will likely receive better offers on the open market. Chris Stewart could be a sneaky good signing for the 4th line. He would add some needed physically and provide a decent amount of offense. Lawson Crouse should be able to make the team and Nick Merkley should also make a strong push for the final roster spot.

preety good simulation for the yotes and I can see them attempting in acquiring zucarello or namestikov from nyr to add to their top 6 either moving domi or chychrun.

I think that Domi's going to get moved. He needs a change of scenery.

I really don't see them moving Chychrun at this point. He is already a good player who is still on his ELC. I also don't think his next contract will break the bank either. I could see them moving any of Demers, Hjalmarsson, or Goligoski if the deal is right...or if they miss the playoffs again.

As for Domi, he probably would benefit from a change of scenery. Over the last 2 years he really hasn't earned anything more than 3rd line minutes. At this point what would they be able to get in return? Unless he is packaged with picks and/or other prospects, I don't see him bringing much back in return.

If I'm the Yotes, I think their best move would be to just add a couple of UFA's, but keep their current team in tact.
