PAP and Hamonik

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
*Only planned on the two trades, then realized I had a ton of cap room. I had to take a chance at finding another lockdown defenseman, that also has a scoring touch.

*The two defensive additions bolster our inconsistent defense, and PAP gives us more firepower on the 1st line. This is important because it allows Shaw to move back to the third line and fulfill his traditional 'Mutt' role.

*Hamonic could still want to be moved after a cup-run, but you never know, if he does, we can capitalize on that in the off-season.

*Once Kruger returns, Panik and Rasmussen will have competition for the final roster spot, which is always good.

There aren't even 25 games left, so not sure how that would work out...also why on earth would the Islanders make that trade?

thats supposed to be 2017 pick, so 25 games next season. that was an accident.
as for the islanders, runblad was a very sought after prospect, and maybe with his change of scene, could produce like he was supposed too. McNeil is a skilled player who could use this chance to crack a new lineup, and mash is a very solid depth player that battles hard, and goes to the net. big guy, strong shot can help their lower lines produce some more offense. combine all that with scuderi, a steadfast, 2x cup champion who can bring the playoff know-how to a contending team
