      Thats an interesting trade idea, and from a value perspective pretty good.

      Just not sure if the Jets would do it. They have a ton of young forwards, Connor, Laine, Elhers, Roslovic and more. They also have Scheifele, Wheeler, Little, Perreault at forward too

      They are getting older on defense and Myers doesn't have much longer on his contract.

      Might have to add a bit more in the trade for Trouba. Why are you paying a 3rd line winger 6.5 Mill? these moves don't make the team better. still have a puck watcher in Zaitsev along with a weak 3rd pairing. This roster could easily make the playoffs but would be another 1st round exit with how weak that defense still is.

      More size and grit? Then you resign JVR and Bozak. Both are OK, but the Leaf are looking for long term upgrades.

      there is not much they can do for that 2rhd until liljegren is ready. Hoping for a Zaitsev rebound next year.
