Description
Sens have said they want to inject youth into the lineup next year. 6 players will make their full-time NHL debuts and the lineup will allow Ottawa to compete for a playoff spot. Of course this is assuming that we get the 1st overall (unlikely).

Rookies:

Formenton: slotted into top 9 role to see what he can do after a promising camp last year.

Brown: slot into a top 6 role, giving he the confidence he needs.

Gagne: after a promising AHL year, reward him with a starting job in Ottawa...see what he can do with Smith and Pyatt

Dahlin: slot with Ceci to even out the top 4

Wolanin: slot into 3rd pairing due to a strong but brief NHL audition this past year.

*White: slot in on line with Duchene and Dzingel, where he did well this past season

    Gonna keep Cleasson over wideman? That's a hard no. Wideman was the one that could have replaced Methot has a top pairing defenceman with Karlsson.

    No way! Wideman is an offensive defensement who’s been out with a serious injury all season! He won’t be the same guy when he comes back! It’s best for him to go back to minors and get his game back to where it was!

    So you just didn't re-sign him? Wideman has a better defensive game than most of the other guys. Cleasson rights will probably be traded

    Claesson is kept simply because he is a favourite with the players and a "competent" 7th D man...its just about team moral
