The Trade with Buffalo seems like a lateral move, what was the idea behind it?

I like what Bogo brings more than Russell. Plus it balances the L/R pairings. Girgensons was just a depth move because he can also play center, doesnt hurt to have a lot of them.

As a Sabres fan I can tell you, BOGO is ok when he plays, but he is not going to play that much. Girg can play center, but just not very well, he was a 3rd liner at best on the worst team in the leauge. The only time he looked like an NHL player then last few years was when he was on Jack's wing.
