Is it possible
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sabres89</b></div><div>Look at the eichel trade, I think you are overpaying by a lot. Mittelstadt and Johnson probably don't have first round value anymore, but olofsson does and Rosen was a mid first last year. You are adding a 23 first, which I assume has protection, and also a 24 first. I don't know how you are valuing mittelstadt and Johnson here, I would think both have second round value. So from here it looks like you are offering roughly twice what eichel got. And I think we still need help at center more than we need help on the wing (although obviously Tkachuk brings a dimension that nobody on the roster brings).</div></div>
Tkachuck has put up better numbers over his career and does not have a broken neck so I think he gets more than Jack, assuming Calgary let's the player negotiate a deal before he is traded.

He is a spare part to the Sabres, he won't sigh because they have 5 LHD ahead of him on the Org Chart, which is why he wont sign.

I would be ok with the Weegar deal, its basically a second and spare parts. Thats a good deal for a top 4 RHD. I think the panthers would quality not quantitiy thought.

I don't think Philly does that, if so I would think that they would have done something similar at the draft.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Buffalove</b></div><div>Fair enough when put that way
But what if there’s other options out there we like better?</div></div>
I'm higher on Bear than most and he fits the age group of the core. It may just depend on if they want to bring on a older vet since the D corps is so young or if they are looking more long-term. I kind of think it's the latter.

Idk</div></div>
I think it's worth a shot. Worst case he is a bottom pair D, dest case he moves Joki down to bottom pair.

Chan 9OA for 16OA and the Sabres may consider this based on whos on the board when the pick comes up.

My guess is that Hornqvist would be retained and flipped so he may waive if he knows his ultimate destination. Agree with Bob though. The only thing that could entice him is if FLA says they are going to bench him in favor of knight and Buffalo promises him the starting job.

Vegas Trade is brutal for the Sabres. You could make that happen without including 16OA.

Hello Naz
Sabres would have less than zero interest in Palmieri. They have a ton of wing depth and are not looking to add vets that will take ice time away from the kids. Also I don't think Palmieri will get a first anymore based on his contract.

My guess is that the Sabres would do that and buyout or Bury Kassian just to get Savoie.

I feel like your value for Nylander is correct. The problem is the Sabres won't be ready to make a run until after he becomes a UFA. This deal is probably 2 or 3 years early for the Sabres.

The Sabres are not moving Power. Especially not for a more expensive and older player who has less team control and is not as good as Power now, let alone in a few years.

Man that is a lot to give up for Chychrun, not saying the value isn't correct, but with Dahlin, Power, and Samuelson I just don't think it's a good use of assets.
Why are you giving away Okposo? He is on the last year of his deal, the team captain, and scores 20 goals last year.
