I saw another user post this trade so I duplicated it. I like it, plus it's plausible. AA has raw talent but so do a lot of players on this team. With Rass most likely making the team and Bert definitely returning after having a good partial year, AA is a spare part.

I don't get it... You traded a top 3 draft pick for Oscar Klefbom? That seems like a horrendous move.

Well, here are my thoughts on that: Klefbom is going to be a upper tier D-man in a much shorter time frame than any 17 or 18 year old in this draft class..........except for Dahlin, of course. Did I overpay? Apparently you think so and maybe I did. I would think that a #3 overall would get you an established d-man.

No offense man but if you think we need Klefbom over our top defensive prospects... you have some research to do. Faulk trade is nice though and realistic

I wouldn't do that trade if i'm Calgary. Ouellet is alright, but Glendening is actually horrible, and he's making 1.8 for the next 3 seasons, which is waaay too much for way too long. I wouldn't even give that term to a great 4C.

I would target a much better defenseman with the 3rd overall pick than Klefbom. Also, while you miss out on Dahlin, you still get an elite level prospect who could be NHL ready. Seeing Detroit should be sort of rebuilding, why wouldn't you want that?
