If the rangers build their d-core through the draft this squad could be in the playoffs soon with an incredibly fast rebuild.

These 3 Could be realistic additions based on projections. Some have them higher some lower but the rangers could also move up a couple slots if needed.

The forward group seems solid enough to trade zucc if they sign 1 ufa. Grabner was a good fit and should be a bit affordable.

If TB wins the cup they’d have had 3x top 31 picks in 2018 as well as 3 more in 2019 if they did decide to sell zucc at the trade deadline as he’s more valuable than other recent players who have gotten a return of a 1st+ For example Martin Hanzal.
