U mean When the Caps Don’t Get Past The 2nd Round, and this wouldn’t work. Too much going to Calgary, and too much coming in from Nashville. There’s 2 rejections.

Also, y not 8 years on Carlson? He’s your UFA. No restriction on the extra year.

Ovi is valued super high I think even despite his age, the Calgary trade is a work in progress but that it the base for it. Carlson for 7 years makes sense based on the contract length for the Caps

Ovi isn't getting that much. Not getting nearly enough from CGY. Way too much for Edler who is a meh defensemen. I'll take Djoos or Kempny over him.
