Do bonuses factor in the projected end of season cap? I'm a Hawks fan and I believe Panarin is expected to earn all of his potential performance bonuses ($2,575,000) this year, and with the current end of season cap projection at $275,046, would the Blackhawks have over $2,000,000 in bonus overages next season if the current roster remains the same?

They do not - bonuses are added at the end of the season.

So with Chicago's current projected cap space, you are correct in that Chicago will have bonus overages due to Panarin's bonuses.

Having over $2 million in bonus overages won't sit well with Stan Bowman and with the cap potentially going down by $4 million next year. He better get rid Bickell's contract.

Which comes first, bonuses being added to the cap for end of this season or buying out Bickell's contract?
