I PREDICTED ALEX ALAIN SIGNING!

And Max is 5-time 30+ goalscorer proven in toughest market in the league. You just not pack him out. He is your captain, there were no complaints about him until this season. He had down year and that happens to almost every player in the NHL. I think he would come back next season mentally and physically stronger and will prove any doubters wrong. He is still great player. He just needs to have his mind in right place. Max wants to be all-time HAB! Let him be all-time HAB. He deserves chance next season

      Perrault value is higher than Shaw and Jets are giving a 2nd on top.
      You are asking Washington to give us a 3rd for taking Alzner.

      Alzner at 3 mil per is very good, add that you are taking Orpik and having 2.5+ cap space for next year.

      I actually think that Shaw and Perreault's value are in the same region. Perreault is offensive C who would put up points in MTL's top-6 and Shaw is player that you can look up to and he will find another shift in his game. In the playoffs he is flying out there, hitting guys, playing sneaky game and scoring goals. I think their value is the same. The point with Jets giving up 2nd is that they won't retain any salary and Shaw will be retained. This will help MTL get more picks and WPG with their cap situation not this summer but next summer when they would be resigning Wheeler and Laine. They would have 1.625 mil plus to cap space and with cap raising constantly Shaw would more and more be a bargain at 2.5 per.

      C'mon.. Shaw despite of concussions had points in same rate as MP85.. yeah, no value. I would love having 2.5 mil Shaw on my team.
