Olofsson led the Swiss hockey league with 27 goals and Lawrence Pilot, who the Sabres have apparently come to an agreement, won the Salming award as the best Swiss hockey league defenseman.

I'm pretty sure you're mixing up the Swiss League to Swedish Hockey League. Other is Swedish, other is from Switzerland.

OMW I did it again, you are so correct, it is the Swedish Hockey League for which that both Olofsson and Pilut play. I guess I did not know the Swiss League had Salming award. Did you miss that I misspelled Pilut name in my post?

I don't know the names of the awards that Swiss hockey league has, but as far as I know, Salming Trophy goes for the best d-man of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). And actually no, I did not notice the mistake in Pilut's name. It blends in, really.

I am looking forward to the Sabres next season. Pilut won the equivalent of the Norris trophy. Remember 2 of the top 7 players drafted last year were Swedish.
