Description
Shot high on ROR, assuming that would get it done. Buffalo saves about 2M this year and he’s off the books after the year is over. I honestly just don’t see us get JT so this is me moving on.

Stay away from O'Reilly. Especially at the cost of Kyrou and Kostin

Yeah I’m not in love with ROR but it seems outside of JT not many options for the top line with Vladi. Assuming you use Schenn and Jaden on he second

So ur giving 2 top C prospects, Bouw, and a 3rd for ROR? ROR came from Colorado, and the last few big guys Col traded ended upbeing bad for the teams they traded them to.

NYR not trading away a conditional 1st – not for Berglund anyway.

Oh crap that is a conditional first. Either way they could trade their 2nd or even a 3rd. Honestly they just wouldn’t have room for him on the roster. And I’m just guessing at a place with cap room, a need, and not on his exempt list.

I assume just stick with Schwartz-Schenn-Tarasenko. Rewrite the second line

I feel like if you can serperate them you can greatly increase the scoring especially after the Schenn Tarasenko issue that came out towards the seasons end

Kostin isn't a center, and kyrou ain't either. Bouw offsets a lot of this as he probably only plays 40 games next year at $5.4 mill.

Schenn Tarasenko issue?

Supposedly Schenn said Tarasenko doesn't stick with the system. But my view is since he benefited greatly from him abandoning it he should shut up.

Kyrou isn't a center, but Kostin was used as a center in San Antonio this season. Didn't do terribly, but not great either.

My view is Schenn should shut up about Tarasenko "abandoning the system" if it's true he said that. I haven't actually seen anything that definitively says he did. But we've seen before that splitting the one line guaranteed to score night in and night out doesn't work. Every team needs at least one dominant line.
