The Isles are not a team that can take on cap dumps so this trade already doesn't work

I gave you the idea, didn't I? I like the Philipp Grubauer move, but I don't see Evan Bouchard going into the NHL year 1. Otherwise, it looks great!

It’ll work for next season, and then they could trade another vet like Ladd or Leddy or Boychuk and replace him with a younger player.

Yeah that'd be great but we'd have to overpay to get a cap dump, it wouldn't be worth it

Well we gave up enough and Ari has enough space where Goligoski doesn’t even need to b included.
