I don't think Calgary is getting Tavares.

But Toronto needs defensemen and won't be able to keep all their young forwards. Who will they have to part with?

Think about it. Brodie is worth a 1st and a 2nd based on the price for DMen last year. Fox is worth a 1st rounder. Calgary gets Nylander for the equivalent of 2 first round picks. Just about right for a very good RW in today's NHL.

Bennett was a top 5 pick but has been underutilized in Calgary under Gulutzan. He is tough and competitive. Someone knows his value. A 2nd and 3rd is of less value than a 1st round pick. There will be a taker.

Yeah I like this but I think Foo gets that spot over klimchuk and Stone is getting paid 3.5 to be a 7th?

Foo doesn't fit in the checking role that I have Klimchuk in on the Backs line. I also believe Foo is not strong enough yet to be a regular night in night out.

Im confused as to what makes you think klimchuck is strong enough...and he's played less games than foo has in the league and is the exact same size...foo got his first taste with 4 meaningless games. Id like to see him when it counts and playing with top 6 guys. Johnny mony foo as a second line would be insane!
