I still see depth scoring as a major issue here. Spezza and Hanzal both have the potential to be liabilities with age and injuries, and Maroon could be there too. I would much rather trade Ritchie than Pitlick.

The Carlson contract would definitely become a liability a couple years down the road, and with all the young D talent we have I don't see a huge need for him. Instead bring back Johns and maybe Pateryn and Heatherington becomes an emergency guy that further develops.

Also, Janmark is underpaid by about $1M.
