      Those trades, apart from the one that actually happened, is ridiculously in Toronto's favor.

      from a Caps perspective I wouldn't trade Bowey for Lupul straight up.
      and I really don't think Kessel isn't going to net Coyle+Dumba+1st+2nd. If he could, he probably would be gone by now

      Ok, but Chimera is kind of dead weight, while Lupul has put up 2nd/1st line numbers over the past 4 years.
      don't forget we are doing the Wild a HUGE favor by taking on Backstrom, Coyle is never going to be more than a 3rd liner, Dumba will probably be a good top 4 d-man, the 1st round pick will likely be around 16-24, and the second round pick is (I think) #54. And we are sending back a 5th round pick. Not much, but it is something.
