Edmonton does that deal in a heart beat. Although they wouldn’t be interested in Anderson but they could flip him to another team

Really? I mean, ur giving up ur best D prospect, a top 10 pick in thee deep 2018 draft, and #4 OVR from 2 years ago plus. U dont think that’s a little much? Ur dealing ur future for a defenseman and a 36ish year old Goalie.

Oilers actually have some solid D prospects imo. And Karlsson is too good to pass up. Chiarelli is trying to save his job so I think he won’t care too much about futures

Stone and Hamilton are probably close to the same value. So definitely not trading a 1st and a 3rd for Gillies. We would get Grubaruer for that package.

There goes our future for 1 season. No this doesn't make any sense

I think you’d have to have a verbal agreement on an extension with Karlsson before making the trade

If you were the Ottawa GM and your goal was to make acceptable deals, those would both be accepted and likely pass the smell test with the fans. Well done.

Karlsson answers a great many of EDM's problems. I agree with OilerMcdavid▾ that Anderson isn't all that useful or necessary, so keep him and (this is a Montreal fan pleading) add in Pageau.

Calgary trade is tighter. Stone would be great for Calgary and the Flames are looking for a first rounder this year. Hamilton would be a tough pill to swallow for any team to give up. Gillies looks promising, but goalies are anyone's guess. Look at Hellebuyck!!

How many right handed ones do we have?!? How that is in the system!.. we have to many LHD. To think he'll be that short sighted is ignorant. Edmonton says no to this deal JUST AFTER THE SIGNED KOSKINEN! LoL

remove Anderson or flip him. I think if Chiarelli can get Karlsson without giving up Nuge or Draisaitl he would do it

Totally forgot about Koskinen! Just knew Edmonton needed a good backup after last year. Feel free to replace Anderson with someone like Zack Smith who could be a third line center/winger.

Hamilton and Stone have essentially the same value. if anything I'd value Stone higher because the list of players at his position who are definitively better than him is shorter than Hamilton's.

Erik Karlsson will be seeking anywhere from $11 million per to probably $12 million per, Good luck affording that plus McDavids $12.5 million and Draisaitls $8.5 million per for the foreseeable future.
