No to everything except the Martin deal.
I can’t even say yes to Carlson because 7 million isn’t enough and 5 years isn’t long enough...

You're not even close to John Carlson try more like 7x8 or 7x8.5 for Carlson term is too short and the AAV needs to be at least $1 million more.

Jake Gardiner is a 50 point dman, he is pending UFA that year and probably will be traded, no way he resigns. Kevin Hayes wasn't quite as good as last year but was a good center overall, that's a fair trade, if you put gardiner with a line that doesn't depend on their dman constantly your good. Even then, gardiner has been very good at takeaways.

McElhinney has to be traded if we want to keep Sparks, and Zaitsev's contract is killing the leafs, the flyer's backup is terrible and a player like zaitsev could help the team, trade for some reason has had good effects on players, take JVR for example, and Raffl is just a 4th liner. that's a good trade

The leafs need space for Marner, Matthews, and Kapanen, Sparks, and Borgman next year. The leafs cannot afford Nylander, and at the same time the leafs need RD, Braun is a good, responsible dman who can put up points aswell, this trade does by far go towards the sharks but in the end, it still improves the leafs.

John Carlson if resigned with caps was expected to be in 6 million range (predicted by Bob Mackenzie) so if they don't he'll be offered in the neighbourhood of 7-8 million.
