that trade doesn't get you karlsson at all. on top of that he is going to get 11m a year from somewhere.

How?.. 3 first round picks and you get a defensemen that is signed long term under a team friendly contract? Enlighten me.

Bc I find what you're asking is for someone to take on 10 million, but give up their next young stars. I'm giving up stuff, that is good. That you wouldn't get from a normal 1 person deal.

you really think ottawa cares about a 2019 1st round that could be a crappy pick, caggiula who is nothing guaranteed at all, a prospect, and klefbom for karlsson and a 2nd? laugh laugh Dude you honeslty think that garbage offer gets you a sign and trade on Erik Karlsson, First off Karlsson gets at least $11 million not $9 million and secondly for a sign and trade Karlsson the offer starts with Leon Draisaitl not Oscar Klefbom.

Funny part is. Don't sign karlsson for the money he's worth. But trade him away for people who willl make equivalent to what he's worth!!... How often do you see a team trade away a core member of their team while trying to add another?.. I would swear it's all picks and prospects the teams want.. Not to mention the sens want to drop salary!?...
