I found it odd too. Chara stayed until like 43-44 early on, while others retire at 35.

haven't you found in NHL18(even the past games) all the future players are impeccable skaters?
I'm in year 2025 with the Seattle SeaDogs (my expansion team). All the rookies i have drafted are now exceptional skaters(90-98 speed)

Always. Even the defenseman are fast, which is odd as some players like Jamie Oleksiak in the current NHL aren't known as fast skaters, so the game seems to really change over the years in the game.

I've seen some prospects come out of the draft with 93+ speed. It does seem like as you get further along in your franchise mode, the prospects do get a lot faster. I think the highest speed I've seen out of the draft is 97! Also can you include overalls for the generated players?
