Alex Galchenyuk isn’t worth a first round pick and even more so when that pick is probably a top 5 pick in 2019. The Carolina trade is interesting because not sure what the new owner is going to do there.

Fair point, I'm not convinced that we would get into the top 5 -honestly was really contemplating a 2nd rounder instead, but thought Montreal wouldn't go for it. I think Galchenyuk is a gamble but still has some good upside! What do you think of the Pickard signing? -think he could still make it?

I do like the pickard signing. Got nothing better in the system so see if he has what it takes.
