You're not giving enough back in either trade. Galchenyuk and the 3rd OA will take more than an aging OFD, a bust and what could be a lower 15 pick.

Detroit doesn't want to give up their youth, considering they're heading for a rebuild

Ha Ha get real we don't need Gillies we just signed another backup goalie the other day, And have about 11 in the organization. Ferland isn't even on the same page as Mantha this is pure bad offer for Detroit. It would cost you at least Valimaki for Holland to even speak to Treliving. Just love how on this site fans way over blow the value of their own players not even taking into consideration other teams needs as well.

Maybe your right but offers start somewhere. I figured Detroit might have cap issues and Ferland only has 7 fewer points than Mantha this year with fewer games. I know Mantha is a better player but that's why I included another prospect. Maybe Adam Fox ? Just making suggestions ... I'm sure there is a deal to be made.
