      No on the Carolina trade. and why would we give up 2 great picks for the future for a guy thats 3/4 developed

      Who are talking about i gave you Pacioretty Andrew Shaw and 2nd round pick 2018 30+ goal score 20 score plays big and 40th draft pick this year lol for one player.

      Shaw is worthless until he proves he can play again and Carolina will not need a leftwing after they draft Svechnikov. So that leaves Patches (whom they don't need) and a second which doesn't get you Hanafin. People need to understand that Carolina doesn't need to trade him or anybody else so if you want him you'll have to pay dearly.

      People got to understand anything can happen in a trade lol there always winner and loser and risk you take

      If you use that standard then any hypothetical trade on cap friendly makes sense. And if that's true then why even comment? Also, the best trades are where both sides win (like the Jones Johansen trade). If you "win" trades with another GM he will be reluctant to deal with you again.

      Andrew shaw is nothing and max had a downgrade seson and Carolina wants to upgrade ther d not make it worse.
