This seems pretty realistic, but you forgot to sign Fabbri and I also guarantee Thomas makes the team out of camp. It wouldn’t shock me if Bouwmeester never plays another NHL game either.

can't see any teams that would give up picks for those three cap dumps.

I agree that Thomas makes the team. But Bouwmeester is FAR more likely to come back healthy and ready to contribute than Fabbri.

And while this is "realistic" in the sense that it smells like an Armstrong roster, it is hardly "realistic" if the goal is "turning into a contender". This roster, as assembled here, isn't even a two line team. Those would have to be the weakest third and fourth lines in the league, and barring injury and special teams, Steen has no business playing outside the 3rd line.

So you don’t think we shouldn’t at least give Fabbri a chance on a risk free contract?

I didn't say that. He has too much talent to give up on. But given that he hasn't played much more than 2 minutes of hockey in the last two years, I think it's crazy to assume he will be starting the season, whenever he is ready, anywhere other than San Antonio.
Lights liked this.

Oh yeah, I did forget to sign Fabbri. Kyrou will be a beast in the NHL.

Please use any cap space available. Defense is a little weak, and again the team has a bunch of third and fourh round players. Please switch kyrou and Tarasenko.
