Description
Reupload for some minor fixes.

Islanders trade is based off if Tavares does indeed decide to stay in Long Island.

Trade two first rounders and a C prospect for Pacioretty (No extention), a much needed RD in Juulsen and a depth LD in Schlemko. This is a "win now" trade.

With the two prospects, I pick Joe Veleno and Bouchard>Dobson>Smith. I defaulted with Smith since he's the most likely to be avalible.

Solid goalie prospect and a pick exchange for the signing rights to Andreas Anthanasiou. It's no suprise that Detroit has too many players and too little cap to work with, so they will happily accept.

Send Benn back to Dallas with a few picks for an interesting LD. Dallas has Hiskanen and Honka coming in next year, and Lindell could be moved for another D prospect in this deep draft.

We have a huge amount of cap space, mostly to resign the 4+ players next season and have a look at picking up a solid UFA next year.

I mean, you're ignoring Juulsen who was a late first round 2015. He's turned out solid, and for NYI, the team with what I think is the worst defence in the league, it's a big help. Whatever D prospect NYI picks up is not going to be NHL ready in at least 2 years.

No thanks on Lindgren, Detroit has enough goaltending depth as it is. Montreal really doesn't have what would interest Detroit for AA.

If Tavares re-signs, why do we need to "Win Now"? Tavares still sub 30. Most of the core is still young. Trading for a 30+ old winger who won't crack our Top6, coming off their worst season and was injured while giving up two firsts and Ho-Sang should lead to Lou's immediate firing.

Juulsen for Ho-Sang, sure I might entertain that.

What's the asking price? Cause I seriously doubt you guys are resigning him.

You seriously think Anders Lee is better then Pacioretty? Idk man. Beau is pretty good however, I can see him being a perenial 50+ with Barzal.

I think he'll be dealt at the draft, So probably either 2018 2nd+2019 2nd or 2018 2nd+b level D prospect is the rumored price.

I think he is a better fit for JT. Lee had 40 of the ugliest goals I have ever seen. Tips, rebounds, off his body. This what people who don't watch the Islanders get. Patches won't work with JT. JT likes to be the shooter. Likes a banger in front of the net and a pass first winger. This is why why Ladd failed to work with JT. Nelson failed to work with JT.

Patches likes to be the shooter. Needs a pass first center. JT is not that.

So what you're saying is a line with Gallagher and Drouin would be the craziest line in the league? /s

Pretty much. Honestly no reason no to believe if JT goes that line could put up the same stats as the Islander first this year. Even better since Drouin is better on the puck than Bailey.
