Description
There are obviously a lot of moves, but the whole thing is signing kovalchuk to a two year 5-6 M contract. He is a right handed shot that could really help the power play.

He wants to go to NY (Rangers or Isles) and barring that, a big city on a level with NY like LA or Chicago. Sorry but I don't see St. Louis in his future.

Crazy trades amount to crazy cap space. So do you need to trade Blais to unload Bouwmeester's deal? Seems like poor asset management.
