2018-19

Created by: cnil4
Team: 2018-19 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: May 31, 2018
Published: May 31, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Few different moves here and there. Wouldn't say this is a 2.0 of the last roster, more like a 1.1 edition, only big move being Hanifin. With Chara retiring, there's 12 million in cap space after next year

I don't want Maroon with Backes under contract still, and Beleskey retained. No more big, slow players. 2.5M is too much to pay a guy like Maroon to be on your 4th line. It's also wishful thinking that Backes ends up on LTIR.

Honestly, I think that Maroon would be a good addition to the team. He was putting up big numbers when he got to New Jersey, and if Backes ends up having problems with concussions like he did this year, I think it's more than likely that he does end up on LTIR. Eventually he'll be able to be moved as a salary dump but for now, I think this would be the best possible team going into a offseason with lots of contracts that are gonna get re-signed. If you have a better signing lmk though and I'll consider it.
