the rangers have absolutely zero reason to trade Zib but this offer would be impossible to say no to. Its an over-payment but i guess thats the only way theyd wanna deal zib anyways. I would love to see the Zib-janmark re-union and that would give stars nice depth but that is a real lot to give for DAL.

Maybe you could also take Zuc w a tweaked package including Spezza to offset $ for this year idk just spitballing

I think you're gonna have to pony up more for Hjalmarsson. He's a proven winner and although he had a down year by his terms, he's still an elite shut down guy. A middling prospect and a 3rd won't get you that.
He was originally traded for Connor Murphy and Laurent Dauphin.
3rd = Dauphin
Murphy > Ritchie
Plus, Arizona isn't looking to move him so they'd probably have to be blown away to consider trading him.
