Slepyshev isn’t even part where of the Oilers, underpayments for players, Klefbom is a LD not suppose they play RD so RHD catalyst is still missing, Pulju should be Drai’s winger as Pulju is better as a checking scorer, Kassian should be a 4th liner, Rattie is a defensive liability, you signed a $2.5 million goaltender just to bury him in the AHL?

I personally think it will be Jujhar Khaira that leads them to a Stanley Cup with McDavid's not so good work ethic

That package might be enough to pry one of those defensemen away but not both, and Emonton has already established a penchant for wildly overpaying in trades for defensemen. Those two would cost just about every good trade asset the Oilers can muster.

The price you pay for your RFA and the price/years for Kovalchuck isnt realistic, i believe.
