You can't just sign RFAs such as Grubauer like that, there must be a trade involved in order to gain his rights. That Grubauer contract is the next level of albatross as well. Assuming Hayden and Duclair's rights are gained in the Faulk deal that would be a huge overpayment by Chicago on top of that.

Are the rights of John Hayden and Anthony Duclair included in that trade? If so, it's probably one or the other, and definitely not both. A later pick probably needs to be added by Carolina as well (maybe your 2019 3rd). Trying to be as unbias as possible even though I'm a hawks fan.
