I did the kessel trade because I like the ability to have 2 of Marner, Strome or Hanifin. Most likely it would be Marner and Hanifin. It would really boost our prospect pool. Maybe add a 2016 1st or a 2015 2nd?

I gave Booth decent $$ because I really liked the way he played at the end of the season. He played with heart and that's what the leafs need. I'm sure however he will take a cheaper contract.

I also really like the Phaneuf trade. We get a quality prospect from last year,(this would make don cherry happy) and a dman that can still play good minutes for us, and help our rookie dman.
