Would you accept a 2nd Rd pick from Philadelphia with Jori Lehtera for Lucic with 50% retention by Edmonton?

Totally fair. I love JP!

I Just think if you can get a guy who’s a proven scorer and can also play all 3 forward positions for an unproven player (up to this point), you do it.

50% of the length of the contract? That would make no sense for Edmonton.

Given his time it is quite hard to produce stuck on the third line with strome and lucic the guy needs to play with drai and more power play time I promise you he comes into this season proving us he is very much so worth it

What do you think of the Flyers trading Lehtera (1 Year left on his deal) for Lucic with $1.3 million retention?

To get out from his deal, I think they would look at that.

After 18-19 all they carry is 1.3 residue. It's still $6million for 18-19 but they could buy out Lehtera or move him again with retention perhaps.
