A Plausible 2018-19 Plan for Chi town

Created by: rja
Team: 2018-19 Chicago Blackhawks
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 12, 2018
Published: Jun. 13, 2018
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I will assume they can continue to put Hossa on LTIR with full cap relief, instead of sending his contract to ARZ.

Additional note- I would draft one of the RHD, and he would replace Rutta next season (I assume the top 4 forwards on the board will already be selected). I picked Boqvist as an example.

Kampf is 4C, he's actually a very promising player for the hawks and his worth goes beyond his numbers. He's not going anywhere.

I apologize- just threw a player in to make a roster spot available. Besides that, what are your thoughts?

It's not bad. That's a lot to give up for Hoffman though.

True but I think for the Hawks it would be worth it. They retain the 8th overall, and now have great scoring depth. I think this forward group would be very scary. I feel that their blueline is not incredible but it's manageable.

Yeah, Hoffman and Kane on the same line wouldn't become the NHL's new favorite joke... No thanks.

I was responding to Newman's terrible suggestion of putting them both on the same line.
rja liked this.
