Well I agree that Stone isn’t a top pairing guy, he has Hamilton and Hamonic above him in Calgary. Toronto doesn’t have Hamilton or Hamonic so...

They have Hainsey and Zietsev ahead of him, and I'd even consider half the left handed guys better than Stone. He's not terrible just not very good and costs way too much for a depth defenceman.

Not sure if stone fits the bill for what we need but could be more effective than hainsey Simmons would be a great addition
