Think you need to add more from Carolina’s end. More picks or prospects coming Ottawa’s way. Think you would have to include one of necas/Roy/bean plus more picks for Ottawa to accept.

OTT gettins Svechnikov and Pesce? for EK, thats a damn good trade to me. Pesce would easily be your best defenseman, and svech would slide perfectly in the hoffmans spot (assuming he gets traded)

Hard no from Carolina, thats just too much to give up. i think Pesce is flying underneath radars, hes a very good top 4 guy.

I 100% agree pesce is a very good top 4 d but EK is a top 5 player in the league regardless of position. Think that is the price you have to pay to get a star player in the league.

the only way i do that trade is if i take out the 1st on both sides, Svech looks like a top notch stud, so i dont think CAR gives him up that easily

Interesting maybe switch the 2019 2nd to a 1st and take out the 1sts from this year? Think that could also get a deal done

More likely than not you are right. Personally I hope they trade Hoffman and hope that’s enough to end up re signing Karlsson but might have to take what they can get then lose him for nothing next summer.

Honestly, i not even an Ottawa fan...........But i really hope EK stays there, Sens need win........something to be positive about

I hope so too. Looking less and less likely every day though. Hope they can mend that relationship sooner rather than later. Cheers!
