Description
A few moves here, I think the Bruins got Grzelcyk at a good price today. For Kovalchuk, I've seen values ranging from 3.5 to prices as wild as 7.3. I think 6mm AAV would be a good price considering what Patrick Marleau got last year from the Leafs. The Bruins trading Krug + a few pieces for Klefbom, Puljujarvi and 2 picks would be a good deal that works for both teams, seeing as the Oilers could use a scoring forward and an offensive defenseman, so I think it works.

Keep in mind that Edmonton has Peter Chiarelli as their GM lol, and the Vancouver trade was simply just because dumping cap would be helpful for the Bruins. Any team that's not contending can be placed in there, usually I throw the Islanders in there, but I decided to change things up

haha true he did trade Hall for larson

Vancouvers in a position where they have so maybe 7th dmen and depth forwards that should get a chance, but only 12 spots, so adding another guy to that mix for a pick is something they wouldnt do. but i see what your getting at

Why trade Krug. He was the quarterback of the powerplay this year which was among the league's best and he was formiddable in the defensive end. Top that off with a solid 59 point performance (tied for 8th among defensman with PK SUBBAN) and I don't see why these rumours are coming up.

He is a defensive liability. 2 years left. Klef is bigger, better defensively, 5 years left, cheaper. That’s why.

I love Krug, but it’d be good business decision.
